Using fingertips rinse any blood, petroleum jelly, and ink that are collected during your tattoo design. Then use of clean paper towel and smoothly move that clean paper towel for make it dry. Do not uses any cloth towel because sometimes cloth towel consists of harbor bacteria, which lead to any infection, may hence try to avoid it? You can use of Neosporin or A & D ointments thin layer on your tattoo design area. Sometime it is useful to use of Vaseline or any body lotion and many other products.



If any bandage is used for protecting your skin then remove it within 10 -12 hours. Never use that dirty bandage, ask for your tattoo artist if there is a need for new bandage to protect it or not. When you go to bed, you need to wrap up that puncture wound with any plastic paper or put on surgical type dressing, which will help you keep it moist. If you feel more stiff and dry then use of ointment, which also help to keep moist, your tattoo wound. Some artiest may recommend you to use of saran wrap for couple of days adding some ointment in it. From the third day, you need to switch or replaces that A& D ointment with lotion only. For couple of weeks lotion will be your best friend, which helps to keep your tattoo wound moist. Curel Healing Lotion is use, which is unscented. If your tattoo is wrapping up with any bandage then you need to apply lotion for every one hour, which will help you to keep your wound moist and thus keep it away from scabs, or very few scabs.
